Pack your picnic basket, grab a blanket or chair, and join us at Brighton Common for some bluesy, funky reggae featuring Johnny Trama and Dub Apocalypse.

The band has appeared at many clubs and festivals throughout New England. They've won a Boston Music Award, were named "One of 10 Local Acts You Need To Hear Now" by The Improper Bostonian, and have one of the most popular and longest running weekly residencies in Boston.

Brighton Sounds: Unplugged is a new, unique cultural experience. For one summer Saturday, local businesses will host live acoustic music, entertaining visitors and increasing foot traffic in the business district.

The program has been made possible with grants from the Boston Main Streets Foundation and Boston Main Streets, and the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development. This funding will subsidize 50% of the cost of the musicians up to $250.
