Brighton Sounds: The Love Dogs and Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers

Sat. Sep 09, 2017

Brighton Common

2:00 - 6:00 pm

An afternoon in the park with 2 local favorite bands:

The Love Dogs with Eddie Sheer will be rockin' the house, and singin' the rhythm & blues.  This septet is from Boston, MA with 4 critically acclaimed CDs and one of the best live shows you will ever see!!

Eddie has also lined up Big Jack Ward as a special guest on guitar, with a guest appearance by Ms. Yamica Peterson on vocals.

Big Jack has toured the world as Luther "Guitar Jr." Johnson's right hand man on guitar and vocals for over 15 years, Jack's eloquent guitar playing will leave you begging for more.

Yamica is the oldest granddaughter of the late Jean M. Jones, Portsmouth’s ‘Lady of Song’ and great-niece to local jazz legend Sharon “Brown Sugar” Jones. A rising indie artist, her first album was a collaboration with Don “Sev” Severence, and she had the distinct pleasure of providing background vocals for Dave Gerard on his album, ‘The Zoomy Trail’.

Also featuring Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers with their electrified delta blues, boogie and soul for modern times. Erin will leave you begging for more as she shreds guitar in her signature fishnet stockings!  Find out more at
