ROSIE HANLON , a lifelong resident of Brighton, became the Program Director of Brighton Main Streets in the Fall of 2000.

Rosie is no stranger to the Brighton Main Streets program, as she has co-chaired the Promotion Committee as well as worked on several events, such as anti-litter programs, the Fall Festival of Flavors, and the Brighton Main Streets Millennium Gala.

Rosie has been involved with Brighton businesses for over a decade. As Executive Secretary of the Brighton Board of Trade (BBOT), Rosie worked to market local businesses by creating the Allston/Brighton Business Directory and the Brighton Board of Trade website (www.brightonbot.com). In addition to her BBOT responsibilities, Rosie was also president of her own marketing and motivational training company and wrote a weekly business column for The Allston/Brighton Tab.

Rosie’s priorities for the Brighton Main Streets Program are as follows:

  • to maximize shopping opportunities for Brighton residents;
  • to increase foot and shopping traffic in the Main Streets district;
  • to encourage residents to volunteer their services to help promote economic activity and community spirit;
  • to assist business owners in finding innovative ways and new opportunities for prospering in a changing economy.

With your input, ideas, and enthusiasm,
we can build a better Brighton!

GET INVOLVED AND HAVE SOME FUN!
